FreeI look in the mirror, day after day, watching and waiting, for what, I cannot say. But today, something had changed. As I stare at my reflection, this clone of my being, a rage from deep within begins to grow. The longer I look, the darker it becomes. First a simmering, then steaming, and then boiling. Finally, I can no longer hold it back. I yell, I kick, I punch, I scream. I curse the world and all that it holds, the greedy, the selfish, the broken, the weak, the strong, the whole. No longer a lie, to myself, or to you. I'm only as true, as you choose to believe, but in that truth, my solace lies, to those still behind masks, who can't escape the lies. A warning in advance, most of my work doesn't have a title.


"As I fall from grace, the wings blackened on my back, I think of only one thing, the thought of getting you back. Thats why I'm here now, I broke the creed. I pushed forward more harshly, the dream guiding me. I felt not for those around us, but only for you and me. And now as I fall, as I realize my gall, I think of only one thing, someday snow shall fall, upon these darkened wings."


Also, you'll notice that in almost everything I post, the darkened wings concept is recurring. So, any thoughts?
